Account Deletion Records
When you delete your account through the Services, we retain a limited deletion receipt for a 90-day retention period to verify that the account was deleted and respond to related enquiries or disputes. Access is restricted to authorised administrators; these records are not used for marketing or to reconstruct your activity.
Information in the Deletion Receipt
The receipt contains your former account ID, a protected email fingerprint generated using a secret key, the deletion time and the scope of account-record deletion. It does not retain your readable email address, name, conversations, photos or usage history. The protected fingerprint can be matched against an email you provide and remains Personal Data; it is not anonymous information.
Receipt Expiry and Deletion Scope
The receipt is excluded from lookups when the 90-day period ends and removed through scheduled cleanup. Stored files and backup copies are handled under the applicable deletion and backup schedules. A deletion receipt confirms deletion of the account record; it does not confirm that every stored file or backup copy has already been erased.
